Police Release New Details To Help ID Body Found At Historic Site
Around noon on Friday, a hiker found the remains of the woman lying face down near the east shore of the Hudson River, south of Bard Rock.

HYDE PARK, NY — Police have released new details in the hope someone out there can help them to identify the elderly woman whose body was found near a Hudson Valley landmark.
The New York State Police said on Monday that, along with the Hyde Park Police Department, they began investigating the suspicious death of an unidentified woman found at the Vanderbilt Mansion historical site on Vanderbilt Park Road in Hyde Park.

In a new update, the Dutchess County Medical Examiner has confirmed the deceased is a Caucasian female with brown eyes, weighing 112 pounds, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with gray hair, no scars, marks, or tattoos.
State police ask that anyone with information regarding a missing elderly woman in the Hyde Park area contact Inv. Filippini at 845-677-7300, and reference case # NY2400970235.
