Stop & Shop Delivers Over 3,000 Stuffed Animals and Toys to 10-Year-Old Larchmont Cancer Survivor
Cuddles from Cassidy Will Donate the Toys to Ronald McDonald House Charities and Local Hospitals

The Stop & Shop Stores across Westchester delivered over 3,000 stuffed animals and toys for the upcoming holidays, to the home of 10-year-old Larchmont cancer survivor, Cassidy Kline. Cassidy’s Charity, Cuddles from Cassidy, https://www.cuddlesfromcassidy.org/ will present the stuffed animals and toys to the Ronald McDonald House Charities and local hospitals to donate to pediatric cancer patients across Westchester and the New York City metropolitan area.
Stop & Shop’s Westchester stores have donated to Cuddles from Cassidy for six consecutive years and have now donated over 23,000 stuffed animals and toys.
“Supporting Cuddles from Cassidy is one of the traditions our Westchester stores are most proud of,” said Stephen Neilsen, New Rochelle Stop & Shop Store Manager. “Cassidy’s strength and compassion inspire our team every year, and we are honored to help bring comfort and joy to children facing incredibly tough battles. Our associates truly rally behind this effort, and knowing these stuffed animals will brighten the days of pediatric cancer patients across our community means the world to us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand with Cassidy and her mission to spread hope and smiles.”

Cassidy is currently in remission after being diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer. Cuddles from Cassidy Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide comfort and joy to children battling life-threatening illnesses by providing cuddles (care packages with stuffed animals, toys, and tokens of love) to put smiles on their faces.
