Westchester General Election 2022 Early And Absentee Voting Info

There is still a little time to request an absentee ballot and early voting starts soon for registered voters in Westchester County.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m, but registered Westchester County voters don't have to wait until the polls open to cast their ballots.

The Early Voting period for the General Election is Oct. 29 - Nov. 6.

  • Oct. 24 is the last day for the Board of Elections to receive an application, letter, fax, email or absentee online portal request for the General Election ballot.
  • Nov. 7 is the last day for an applicant or agent to apply in person at the Board of Elections for the General Election absentee ballot.
  • Nov. 8 is the last day to postmark the General Election absentee ballot by mail. The ballot must be received by the Board of Elections no later than Nov. 15.
  • Nov. 8 is the last day to deliver the General Election absentee ballot in person to the Board of Elections or at any poll site throughout the county, by the close of the polls on election day.

Voters can find polling places, register to vote and learn about absentee ballots, from the county’s Board of Elections.

For additional voting information, visit Vote411, an interactive Web site created and maintained by the League of Women Voters. The site supplies personalized ballots and polling locations simply by entering the voters home address.
