NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New York Lottery announced a top-prize winning TAKE-5 ticket was sold in the Sound Shore for Monday's evening drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Stop & Shop located at 2425 Palmer Ave. in New Rochelle. The ticket is worth $35,103.00 to the person holding the winning numbers.

TAKE-5 numbers are drawn from a field of numbers ranging from one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The winning numbers on the prize-winning lottery tickets are 6-18-24-28-37. While the overall odds of winning are 1 in 8.77, the odds of winning the jackpot with 5 matching numbers are 1 in 575,757. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.
