• Overnight fire damages duplex on East Molloy Road in Mattydale (cnycentral.com) — North Syracuse firefighters were among several departments called to a major overnight duplex fire on East Molloy Road in nearby Mattydale, where all residents escaped safely. Crews battled heavy flames for about two hours before the blaze was contained, and investigators are now working to determine what sparked the fire. No injuries were reported, but the home sustained significant damage.
