2 Shelter Island Men Nabbed In Possession Of Controlled Substances: PD
They were arrested Monday night, police say.
SHELTER ISLAND, NY — Two men were arrested on Shelter Island after they were found in possession of controlled substances, police said.
According to Shelter Island police, the incident took place on Monday at 11:09 p.m. Anca Iuga, 26, of Shelter Island was found with cocaine; Tomic Marko, 40, of Shelter Island was found with methylphenidate hydrochloride (Medikinet, Ritalin), police said.
Both were arrested, charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, processed at police headquarters and released on appearance tickets for Shelter Island Justice Court at a later date, police said.
