CAST Calling On Community To Make Holidays Bright For Families In Need
A toy drive is ongoing; gifts for teens are needed. And here's a chance to help don your Santa gear and help with toy distribution.

NORTH FORK, NY — The holidays are a time of giving, and the Center for Advocacy, Support and Transformation, (CAST), is calling on the community to help make the holidays brighter for families in need on the North Fork.

CAST's Holiday Toy Drive is now underway; the organization is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages through December 16.
This year, CAST has a special request: The group is especially in need of gifts for teens; items to donate include:

- Yetis, Hydroflasks
- Card games
- Adult Lego sets
- Room decor
- Makeup and hair tools
- Winter accessories
- Sports equipment
- Toolboxes
- Jewelry
- Throw blankets
- Crewnecks, hoodies
- Fishing gear
- Art supplies
- Slippers
And, in addition, CAST is offering the community a chance to share in the holiday magic: CAST is looking for volunteers to assist with toy distribution from December 16 to 19.
