EVENT: Mattituck Faces Patchogue-Medford on 'The Challenge' Quiz Show
Trivia-savvy Mattituck High School students will take on Patchogue-Medford Monday night on MSG Varsity quiz show on Channel 14.
A team of academic all-stars from will compete against Patchogue-Medford in final rounds on MSG Varsity's "The Challenge," a "Jeopardy" for youngsters, on Cablevision Channel 14 at 6:30 p.m. Monday night.
Team captain (and former North Fork Patch contributor) joins teammates James Finora, Tristan Keil, Tom Sledjeski, and Nicholas Piraino to test their knowledge of history, arts and literature, current events, math, and science.
For 15 years, 'The Challenge' has honed the brain skills of high school students from Connecticut, New Jersey, the Bronx, Long Island, and the West Hudson Valley region. Mattituck's show was taped Nov. 2 in a Manhattan studio and is scheduled to re-air on Tuesday at 11 a.m., 3:30 and 6 p.m. More times will be scheduled this month in case you miss it.
