June 7: Garden Club, Substance Abuse, Write Your Story

Tuesday offers the following five things to keep you occupied.

Tuesday means a Town Board meeting and free tastings.

1. , 18910 Route 48 in Cutchogue, offers free tastings of select wines every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  one free tasting flight per customer. Call 631-734-5200

2. Learn to write about you at, 539 First Street in Greenport, during a memoir writing workshop at 5 p.m. with local writer Teresa Taylor. Please sign up for this course. Call 631-477-0660.

, 15125 Route 25 in Mattituck, holds a forum at 7 p.m. about how to curb substance abuse in teens and pre-teens. The North Fork Alliance sponsors the event held at the library. Call 631-298-4242.

4. After you write your memoir, talk a little gardening at at 3 p.m. The gardening club meets weekly in the library's community garden. Each week the club will meet to transplant, plant, weed, and harvest. Call 631-477-0660.

5. Members of the will meet for work session at 9 a.m. and then for their regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at 53095 Route 25 in Southold. Bring your issues and have your say. Call 631-765-1800.
