  1. Northforker shares that Pookaberry will host a holiday gift shop pop-up in Mattituck this weekend. Starting Saturday, the shop will feature items based on the artwork of co-owner Peter Marco like plush toys, art prints, posters, coffee mugs, picture frames and books. (Northforker)
  2. Patch has an update on The Enclaves hotel and restaurant planned for Main Road in Southold. On Thursday the Southold Town zoning board of appeals granted conditional approval to the project despite public opposition. (Patch)

  4. It's not just Christmas trees that get lit on Long Island. The annual lighting of the Big Duck in Flanders was back this year last weekend after a year off due to COVID-19. It was the 33rd annual lighting of the 90-year-old duck. (News 12)
