Peconic Community School Set To Honor Cutchogue Civic Association
"We are so excited to be hosting this year's event in our forever home here in Cutchogue." — Peconic Community School co-founder Liz Casey.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — The Peconic Community School, settling into its new home at the former Sacred Heart campus in Cutchogue, is ready to celebrate.
The school, which moved to its new location on Main Road in January, will host its annual SHARE fundraiser on Saturday, September 28, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., honoring the Cutchogue Civic Association.
The event will mark the first time that the school has hosted the fundraiser at its new home, "and it is yet another milestone for the school since moving to Cutchogue in January. All proceeds raised during this year’s SHARE fundraiser will go toward the school’s comprehensive capital campaign for the Cutchogue campus, expanded programming for the larger community and scholarship opportunities for students facing need," the school said.

The event will feature local food, wine and cocktails, live music, auctions and community to "celebrate 13 years of progressive education on the East End," organizers said.
During the first months in the new space, school officials said students were "steeped in the local ecosystems, people and businesses that make Cutchogue so special. As the school community folds itself into the larger community of Cutchogue, it is a natural step to honor and celebrate Cutchogue at the school’s first annual fundraiser in its new home."

The Peconic School's co-founder and co-director Liz Casey spoke about the event: “We are so excited to be hosting this year’s event in our forever home here in Cutchogue, and it seems fitting to be celebrating and honoring all things Cutchogue this year as a way to acknowledge this new home and the warm welcome we have received."
Carolyn McCall, representing the board of the Cutchogue Civic Association, also reflected: "We are incredibly grateful to be honored. Together, we can build on our shared vision of a community where all can learn and exchange ideas, young students and adults alike."
The SHARE event is open to all and will feature a special silent auction filled with local specialties, a paddle raise, and remarks from recent student alumni. Guests will enjoy jazz music by Olivia Fosci Trio, florals by Festoen, a raw bar by Little Ram Oysters, delicious local dinner prepared by Lombardi’s Love Lane Market, local wines and beer, and signature cocktails by Doublespeak Cocktails, all in the fields at Peconic Community School’s new location at 27685 Main Rd in Cutchogue.
