Police: Orient Woman Charged With With DWI

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Alexis Griffin, 28, of Orient, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Dec. 26 at 11:12 p.m. after police stopped her for driving down the wrong way of North Street in Greenport, police said. After investigation, Griffin was found to be intoxicated, police said. She was processed and held at police headquarters pending arraignment.
