Police: Speonk Man Violates Restraining Order

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

Juan J. Castrovelasquez, 22, was arrested on Nov. 4 at 9:16 p.m., after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 48 in Mattituck and a computer check revealed that he had an active stay away order of protection issued against him from a passenger in his vehicle, police said. Castrovelasquez was arrested and held for arraignment.
