NORTH FORK, NY — A young pup who was left behind when his mom had to move is desperately seeking his forever family.

According to Gabrielle Stroup, director of operations for the North Fork Animal Welfare League, Comet is a "super cute Dobie mix." Medium-sized, Comet "is very smart and knows his basic commands," Stroup said.
