Now that the dust has somewhat settled from the All-American, post-Thanksgiving retail binge framed by Black Friday and Cyber Monday (which this year lasted for an entire week), we want to know what you thought about modern capitalism's latest invention to try to get you to spend money on stuff — Small Business Saturday, which took place Nov. 26.

With the North Fork still peppered with mom 'n' pop stores and unique boutiques, the promotion started by American Express should have, theoretically, helped local businesses. Did it?
