Renowned Children's Author Visits Cutchogue East Elementary School

His newest books include "Slugfest" and "Faker."

NORTH FORK, NY — Students got the chance to meet one of their favorite authors recently when Gordon Korman visited Cutchogue East Elementary School.

Korman spoke to fifth and sixth grade students about his writing process and techniques, character development, and his newest books, "Slugfest" and "Faker," the district said.

He also took time to answer the students’ questions.

"The students were amazed and inspired when they learned that Mr. Korman has written more than 100 books in many genres and has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide," the Mattituck-Cutchogue School District said.
