Southold Town Meeting to Take Place in Mattituck on Tuesday

Town Board members will meet at the Human Resource Center in Mattituck at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

officials will unveil a consultant’s report during their Tuesday night meeting regarding the Mattituck business corridor, a section of town on Route 25 and Route 48 from Factory Avenue to Wickham Avenue that has been under analysis for months now.

The meeting will take place at the at Pacific Street and Sound Avenue at 7:30 p.m. in Mattituck. Supervisor Scott Russell’s to take the place of the one-way section of Old Sound Avenue near Love Lane and the is only one part of the larger corridor study.

  • Spring cleanup for leaves and brush to commence on April 11 beginning in Orient and ending in Laurel. The town also plans to authorize the acceptance of residential leaves, brush and branches at the in Cutchogue starting on April 1 and ending on May 15.
