Beth Davidson Announces 60 Orangetown Endorsements Following Rockland Democratic Forum

Rockland County Legislator Beth Davidson, candidate for Congress in New York’s 17th District, has announced over 60 endorsements from Orangetown elected officials, Democratic Party leaders, and community leaders, following her release last week of more than 50 Clarkstown endorsements. These endorsements add to the growing list of more than 230 endorsements for Davidson’s campaign, including the unified backing of Rockland County’s Democratic Party leadership and elected officials in the county that makes up 40% of the district.

“I’m truly grateful for this support from the Rockland community,” said Davidson. “I’ve been honored to represent my Clarkstown and Orangetown neighbors as a local elected leader for nearly a decade, and I am ready to bring my record of results to clean up Mike Lawler and Donald Trump’s mess in Washington.”

The wide range of new endorsements followed the Clarkstown Democratic Committee candidate forum on October 15. Davidson, a longtime Nyack resident and former Nyack School Board Vice President, has defeated Republicans in political campaigns while working to lead a divided government by achieving bipartisan results in the Rockland County Legislature. A two-time cancer survivor, she has advocated for affordable health care and reducing the real costs families face.
