Burke Rehabilitation Opens New Outpatient Facility in West Nyack

WEST NYACK, NY — Burke Rehabilitation has opened its newest outpatient facility in Rockland County.

The Westchester-based and nationally-recognized provider of physical and medical rehabilitation care, now has its first outpatient center in Rockland County, and its 13th facility across the tristate area.

Burke West Nyack, located at 3 Centerock Road, will offer a full suite of Burke’s comprehensive rehabilitation care and services.

Its first patients were welcomed April 1.

The 6,800 square foot facility offers a modern and open space for therapists to work one-on-one with patients using state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive environment designed for improvement and recovery.

Rockland County patients who have had illnesses, injuries, or surgery will be able to recover with a comprehensive range of treatments at the West Nyack facility, including:

• Concussion Management
• Vestibular Therapy
• Orthopedic Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Occupational Therapy
• Hand and Upper Extremity Care

The construction of the new suite reflects Burke’s commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of its people, community, and planet by prioritizing sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint in both every day and long-term actions, hospital officials said. The facility features LED lighting and a floor plan that utilizes natural daylight to reduce energy consumption, as well as water and energy efficiency features. Sustainable and low volatile organic compound (VOC) materials were selected for finishes and furniture.
