"This community-centered event promises to once again attract a strong contingent of car enthusiasts of all ages and persuasions — people who take pride in owning and maintaining special vehicles, as well as people who appreciate them," said Roger Cohen, president, Nyack Chamber of Commerce. "It's a great way to spend a memorable summer day and evening in our beautiful riverside village."
Classic Car Night piggybacks on another community initiative spearheaded by the Chamber — Nyack's Thursday Farmers Market — which runs earlier Thursday (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) in the Main Street municipal parking lot. When all the fresh local fruits, vegetables, artisanal specialties and other delicacies have been sold, the classic cars will cruise onto Main Street to begin the evening's festivities.
