An afternoon of hot rods, hogs and heroes made for a day of family fun, as well as a successful fundraiser to create housing for veterans.
Proceeds from the 2013 United Water annual classic car, truck and motorcycle show on Sunday, June 9 will be donated to the local Homes for Heroes chapter, a non-profit organization offering affordable housing for homeless and disabled veterans.
Funds raised will support apartments that are under construction on Camp Shanks in Tappan. The event also included a blood drive.
