Fast Moving Storm To Leave HV Soon; Aftermath Will Be Cold
It may be less than weekend predictions called for, but it's still one of the biggest snowfalls in the past couple of years.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The nor'easter that frustrated forecasters across the region is expected to end early this afternoon.
"Keep in mind this is a fast mover, only a few more hours of snow," the folks at Hudson Valley Weather said on Facebook at 7:23 a.m.

As the storm arrived, weaker than expected and to the south of its initial track, areas that had expected more than a foot of snow (northern Dutchess and Ulster counties) didn't even rate an updated storm briefing Tuesday morning from the National Weather Service.
Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties could end up with 4-8 inches, with more in some locations, the NWS said in its briefing for the lower Hudson Valley.
