During his time at the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, Steve has fought and won many headline murder trials. In March he worked his last case, Executive ADA Moore assisted in securing the guilty conviction of a 2018 homicide in West Nyack.
In the office, he will be remembered for his mentorship of young Assistant District Attorneys. Executive ADA Moore’s legacy will live on in all of the attorneys who were so lucky to have got the opportunity to work with him.
Steve fought valiantly through a medical condition and sadly succumbed to his illness last night.
Steve Moore was a father, a friend, a legal titan, and is someone this office will never forget. Our deepest condolences to the Moore family during this difficult time.
