Nyack Farmers Market Offers Ingredients For New Year's Feasts

Remember, parking is free in the Artopee Lot until 2 p.m. on Thursdays.

NYACK, NY —The Nyack Farmers Market will be open Thursday, and while a few vendors are taking a well deserved break, others will be there to help you with great ingredients for New Year's feasts.

The market runs from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Remember, meters throughout the village are in effect Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., but parking in the Artopee Lot is free until 2 p.m. on Thursdays. Do not park in the M&T Bank parking lot.

This week's vendors:

  • Babka Paradise: matzah ball soup, bean stew, challah, knishes, and babka (of course!) try their popular cheese babka!
  • Bill Batson Arts: iconic Nyack Sketch Log gear
  • Campanelli Poultry Farm: fresh, free-range natural meats, eggs, and honey
  • Dan Madura Jr. Farm: offers fresh mushrooms, greens, vegetables, herbs, and more
  • Doc Pickle: pickles, olives, picked veggies, sauerkraut, hot sauce, and more
  • Edgwick Farm: With the holidays upcoming, Edgwick Farm is offering two holiday seasonal pairings with its Canterbury soft goat cheese: Cranberry Orange (sweet), and Sun-dried Tomato Garlic (savory). Also available for the entire holiday season are Holiday Cheese Balls (sweet or savory) and Chocolate Goat Cheese Truffles.
  • Jack Knife Sharpening: Bring your knives, serrated blades, shears, garden tools, scissors, etc. down for some TLC! Jack can reshape, re-serrate, and restore your tools to their optimal condition, extending their life and usefulness.
