Police: Nyack Home Broken Into By Ex-Lover
A woman has been arrested for breaking into a Nyack man's home and damaging property.

It was a tumultuous weekend for one Nyack couple.
At approximately 1 p.m. last Saturday, a woman from Tuxedo illegally entered her ex-boyfriend's home on North Midland Avenue while he was away, Orangetown Police said.
The woman—39-year-old Erika Maloney—allegedly broke through a locked door in order to enter and proceeded to damage property. She also is accused of swinging a typewriter at a neighbor who attempted to intervene.

Orangetown Police caught up with Maloney after she had left the apartment; she has been charged with first-degree burglary (a felony) and various misdemeanors.
She is being held at county jail in New City on $2,500 bail.
