Nyack's Ferrante, Tappan Zee Team Win County Golf Championships

Nyack’s Alex Ferrante shot a one-under-par 71 to win the individual title at the Rockland County Golf Championship Wednesday at Rotella Golf Course.
Ferrante’s round was four strokes better than second-place Devin Solar of Clarkstown South’s 75. Pearl River’s Kevin Deegan finished third with a 78.
Tappan Zee won the team title with a total score of 412. Luke Grennan turned in the Dutchmen’s low score with a 79, fourth overall. Pearl River (437) finished second and Clarkstown South (443) was third.
