According to Orangetown Police, 54-year-old Steven Wilkerson, 54, was arrested Wednesday after striking a 48-year-old woman in the head with a folding chair at 111 Sickles Ave. in Nyack.
Wilkerson, who is apparently homeless, was charged with Assault in the Second Degree, a Class D felony, and sent to Rockland County Jail.
The victim, whose name was not released, suffered a contusion to the head and a laceration above her left eye. Shew as taken to Nyack Hospital for treatment.
