A Palisades man was killed in a hit-and-run Thursday at the Esplanade at Palisades Luxury Senior Residents on Oak Tree Road, according to Orangetown Police. Joseph Carroll, a resident of the assisted living facility, was found in the parking lot late Thursday morning. Police later determined that he had been struck by a vehicle and the driver had fled the scene. Carroll was taken to Nyack Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Orangetown Police are asking anyone with information to call the department at (845) 359-2121.
