Pearl Harbor Attack Anniversary: Rocklanders Invited to Commemoration

Suffern hosts 71st anniversary ceremonies at Village Hall.

The Village of Suffern has invited Rocklanders to attend its commemoration tonight of the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, which brought the U.S. into World War II.

The Pearl Harbor event is set for 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Village Hall, 61 Washington Ave., Suffern.

The event is free an open to the public.

Members of the Suffern High School Chamber Orchestra are set to peform and area veterans and scout groups have also been invited.
