Photos Surface of Alleged Nyack Armed Robber

Investigators are making progress in tracking down the man who robbed a woman at gunpoint in downtown Nyack last summer, Orangetown Police said.

Police have obtained surveillance photos of the man suspected of the armed robbery. The man has short hair, and is wearing a baggy sweatshirt and large backpack.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at (845) 359-2121.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on August 28. The woman was sitting in a parked car, and the robber demanded money, brandishing a handgun. The woman gave up $20, and the man fled toward Gedney Street, police said.
