Piermont's Joshua Morris, serving in the New York Army National Guard, has been promoted to the rank of specialist. Morris is a member of Company B, 2-108th Infantry. His new rank carries additional responsibility and leadership. Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential, said Major General Patrick A. Murphy, the Adjutant General for the State of New York.

Piermont's Joshua Morris, serving in the New York Army National Guard, has been promoted to the rank of specialist.
