Nyack's "Game of Skate" brought boarders to the village's downtown on Saturday, turning the Main Street parking lot into a skate park.
Over 100 skaters—young and old—attended the fete, said Sarah Anderson, who helped organize the event. Anderson, a Nyacker, is married to an avid skateboarders, and one of her two children is picking up the sport.
The day included sponsors and prizes.
