"The Nyack Chamber of Commerce is pleased to once again host our great SpringFest fair," said Roger Cohen, president of the Nyack Chamber. "This year's fair is in many ways a celebration of Nyack, a walkable Hudson River town blessed with natural beauty and architectural charm."

In addition to sampling wares from hundreds of fair vendors, visitors can enjoy the many boutiques and restaurants that reside year-round in the village. Musical performances include The Scoop from 1-3 p.m. and DJ Don at 4 p.m. at the gazebo in Hezekiah Easter Veteran Memorial Park at the corner of Cedar and Main Streets.

Nyack's one-of-a kind retailers offer unique merchandise across a broad spectrum of hard-to-find treasures, from antiques, custom jewelry and original art, to hand-made clothing, crystals, vintage vinyl and books, specialty eyewear and other products — many imported from sustainable sources in the U.S. and around the world.

Springtime in Nyack also features Nyack Feasts! from April 15 - 21, an annual celebration when Nyack opens its doors to foodies, friends and families for special deals on great food, and unique merchandise.

Among the attractions for shoppers who like to pair a good retail tour with a good meal is the tempting array of casual eateries and fine dining establishments that put Nyack on the map as a center for food enthusiasts.

"Nyack Feasts! has become a top destination for great dining in the Hudson Valley," said Mark Davidoff, Chamber Board member, and director, Rockland Community College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Center. "Our village is a hub for culinary activity. Over 30 restaurants and 24 merchants are participating in Nyack Feasts! in 2024."

During this week-long culinary celebration, diners can choose their formats and flavors from participating restaurants offering a variety of options — such as discounts of up to 20% or special menus at special prices. This page on the Visit Nyack website has more info.

By the way, Nyack's year-round Farmer's Market returns to its regular hours of 8am - 2pm from its main municipal parking lot on April 4. Operating for more than 25 years, the market offers a wide range of locally produced and prepared food, each Thursday, a perfect opportunity for chefs to find farm goods to bring to their restaurant's tables.

"People want to live, work and spend leisure time in communities that offer unique shops, great restaurants, recreation, entertainment and a year round farmer's market," said Cohen. "Nyack fits the bill. Come and see a small village that does big things."
