Valley Cottage Elementary School held a dedication of its new playground Sept. 1.
The Valley Cottage Elementary PTA's playground committee led the fundraising efforts with a goal of $75,000 to replace the aging playground equipment at the school. Valley Cottage Elementary is part of the Nyack Public School District.
