Valley Cottage Indians Cheerleaders a Big Hit in Florida
Team takes second place in competition at Disney.

The Valley Cottage Indians cheerleaders have been having a great year, which culminated with a big performance at Disney in Florida.
The local cheerleaders narrowly missed taking the top spot in the nationals competition in Florida, landing is second place — with just .7 between the teams in the scoring.
The squad has been a team for the last five years. They started this season with the a win on Oct. 13 in Monroe for the County Champs title. Then they went to the Regional Quailfier on Oct. 28 and they took first place there. Next, it was on to Syracuse, where on Nov. 4 they won the Empire State Classic. The last stop locally was in Trenton on Nov. 18, when they came in first and moved onto the Nationals at Disney.
The team: Jenna Brady, Amanda Chazen, Abigial Callan, Deanna D'Antoni, Victoria Giordano, Emily Halloran, Ciara Lopez, McKenzie Mayer, Annamarie Pelligrino, Taylor Popkave, Sabrina Ruckel, Samantha Vasami.
