“After years of eyeing Nyack as a location for growing a business, I set up shop in the center of the village 13 years ago and have enjoyed great success. Custom lingerie, central to my business model, at first seemed problematic during the pandemic. But thanks to satisfied customers and word of mouth referrals, my phone continued to ring for fittings, which I was able to do virtually with pick-up and drop-off deliveries – a lifeline when we were shut.
With that experience, I'm now able to continue remote service for out-of-towners referred to me, all while revitalizing my local in-shop business. So my way of doing business has actually improved as a result of the pandemic – thanks in large part to my customers.”
