A Lego Version of Sunnyside or Lyndhurst?

Sunnyside and Lyndhurst are among other regional attractions vying for your vote to be built in Legos.

 

Legoland Discovery Center Westchester wants help deciding which metropolitan landmarks they will build, brick by plastic brick, in the Miniland attraction to open in March 2013 at Ridge Hill in Yonkers.

Among the contenders are two Tarrytown attractions (and neighbors): Lyndhurst and Washington Irving’s Sunnyside. They are the only Westchester sites among a very NYC-centric list.

Lest our local legends be overshadowed by perhaps more famous landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and Yankee Stadium, here’s your chance to vote local:

Voting will be open until Tuesday, Dec. 18, with the winning location announced on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
