Good morning Croton and Ossining. Today is going to be a great Friday, and the weekend is only a few hours away.
"Lawns – the Good, the Bad, and the Future." That's the name of Croton Village Trustee and Patch columnists Ann Gallelli's column today. It delves into the history of lawns themselves and how they connect us to our neighbors. The column will be on Patch at 1 p.m.
Coming up at 12 p.m. we will have a preview of some great family-friendly events in Croton and Ossining this weekend. The weekend planner is courtesy of Laurie Weisz from Mom Offers More.
Some stories that Patch is working on for next week include the Ossining Fire Department's need for new fire trucks and Briarcliff Woods condo owners' efforts to stop their homes from continually being flooded.
