Flooding at an Ossining condo, volunteers at a local salon and Croton's EMS are all making news today.
Good morning Croton and Ossining. Today is going to be a great Wednesday, and the weekend is halfway here.
People who live in the Briarcliff Woods Condominiums have been dealing with continual flooding. Last week they raised the issue again with Ossining officials. The Briarcliff Woods residents will be holding a meeting with Town of Ossining officials on Thursday. Patch will be there to cover this ongoing issue. This morning be sure to check out Town of Ossining Councilman Peter Tripodi's column on this problem that has been plaguing the condo residents.
Last night the Town of Ossining Board approved an agreement to assist Croton-on-Hudson's EMS. We will have the full story later today.
A local hair salon is raising money to help Ossining soccer players attend a European soccer tournament. This story of volunteerism and people helping people will post this evening.
