Agnes Fracassi, Formerly of Ossining, Dies at 85

Agnes Ann Fracassi of Jupiter FL, formerly of Ossining, died on Oct. 14, 2013, she was 85. She was born in Peekskill Sep. 4, 1928 to Frederick & Agnes Tuttle Zirella. Agnes was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony in 1995. She is survived by her daughters Mary Ann Glickman (Peter), Toni Ann Fracassi, Frances Fracassi, Teresa Fracassi-Lopardo (Luciano), 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 

Agnes Ann Fracassi was known to all as "OTSIE", a nickname given to her by her mother at a very young age. This unique nickname truly was a tribute to the unique person she was.  After graduating Ossining High, Otsie worked at the Readers Digest in White Plains until she and Sonny started their family. Otsie loved being a full time wife and mother to her four girls. In her retirement years that passion was shared with her grandchildren, Nicole, Justin, Marc, Thomas, Arianna, Luciano, Michael, Alessia, Tatiana and Natalia.  Great grand children: Jayden and Madison.  

Otsie was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed sharing her arts and craft projects and brought her love of music into our lives everyday.

She will be reposing Sat. 8:30am-9:30am at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Catholic Burial to follow at 10am at St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
