AMD School Bus Involved in Accident

Police say three children were taken to a local hospital after their bus was involved in an accident around the intersection of Horse Shoe Circle and Saddle Trail. An official says that it initially appears that either the bus hit a parked car or the car backed up into the bus. The accident happened around 3 p.m. Three children on the bus were taken to the hospital as a precaution after the accident.

"They complained of having some pain. They got bounced around a little bit. They didn't have any visible injuries… But they did complain of some pain, so they were taken to local hospitals. School staff responded to the scene. Parents were notified," said Westchester County Police spokesperson Kiran O'Leary.

There were a total of 19 children on the bus at the time of the accident. The accident is still under investigation.
