Blue Pig for Thanksgiving?

Don’t associate an ice cream shop with your Thanksgiving dinner planning? Well you should!

Croton’s wonderful little Blue Pig is taking orders now for Thanksgiving soups and seasonal ice creams. 

The special soups:

• Wild mushroom – pureed fresh musthrooms, beef broth and home grown hears
• Local pumpkin with sage butter
• Thai butternut squash (vegan) – coconut milk, fresh ginger, garlic and curry

And locally sourced ice creams:

• Brown sugar cinnamon
• French vanilla
• Pumpkin spice
• Maple with cinnamon toasted walnut

(Vegan options and sorbet are also available.)

You can call in orders before Saturday, Nov. 23 at 914.271.3850. Pints $7.50; quarts $12.50.
