Caroline Gerstenkorn, of Ossining, Dies at 77

Caroline Gerstenkorn, a resident of Ossining and formerly a resident of Valhalla, 
passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013. She was born in the Bronx in1935, and was the daughter of Charles and Margaret Eckhoff. She was 77.
 
Mrs. Gerstenkorn was a former Rosarian of the Holy Name of Jesus, a communicant at St. Augustine’s Church and a member of the Golden Eagles.
 
She is survived by her children Linda (John) Behan and Scott (Elaine); her 
grandson Sean (Melissa) Behan, and great granddaughter Madeline Rose. She was predeceased on August 2, 2013 by her husband of 56 years, Oswald.
 
Visiting hours will be held Thursday 9-11:30 AM at Dorsey, the Mass will follow at 12 Noon at St. Augustine’s Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Augustine’s Church Golden Eagles, 381 North Highland Ave., Ossining, NY 10562 would be appreciated.
