_A work session considered "urgent" for the Ossining Public Schools focuses on the topic "Stop Underfunding Ossining Schools: Unfreeze New York State Foundation Aid" starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Claremont school cafeteria.

From the District news release: "Foundation Aid funding was created to provide equitable access to a sound, basic, quality education has been frozen at 2008-2009 levels.  As a result, the Ossining Union Free School District is the eighth lowest Foundation Aid district in the state, while other districts are overfunded."
