Croton Football Player on TV Tonight

Croton Football player Nick Grous will be featured on MSG Varsity tonight.

The following is a release from MSG Varsity.

Tonight at 7 p.m., the MSG Varsity network (iO channel 14 for Cablevision subscribers) will air a lengthy news feature on Croton Harmon junior football player Nick Grous, who last year suffered a lacerated spleen during a game that landed him in intensive care for a week—costing him the rest of his season—but this year came back to help lead the Tigers back to the state championship game at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome.

And though the Tigers fell short, losing 22-6 to Hornell for the Class B title, Grous, a running back and defensive back, tells MSG Varsity’s Shawna Ryan that just being able to be back on the field again this year to help his teammates made it a season worth remembering.
