Westchester Magazine has named the winners in its 2016 “Best of Westchester" Awards.
Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson claimed a few winners.

Westchester Magazine reports that the bakery products are made without preservatives, food coloring, or additives. “Fresh baked madeleines, whoopie pies, cookies, brownies, muffins, and apple crisps are available.”

Memphis Mae’s, 173 South Riverside Avenue, Croton-on-Hudson
According to Westchester Magazine, the bistro’s menu includes “fried green tomatoes, Carolina pulled pork, Mississippi catfish, and Texas brisket.” The restaurant also won the magazine’s Best Barbecue award in 2009.

The magazine credited the library as a great resource for live music. The library also offers yoga and fitness classes, language classes and writing workshops.
Mike Risko Music School, 144 Croton Avenue, Ossining
Westchester Magazine honored the school in 2019, 2014, and 2015. According to the magazine, the school “offers voice and instrument lessons in state-of-the-art studios,” as well as renting band and orchestra instruments.
