Police are investigating three recent larceny cases in the village:
- A Harrison Street resident reported to police the morning of July 12 that someone had entered their car sometime overnight. Missing was about $20, loose change, and a bottle of prescription medicine.
- A ShopRite shopper reported to police on July 12 just before 1 p.m. that her wallet had been taken while she was in the store.
- Police responded a larceny report on July 13 at Sunset Trail. At 12:08 p.m. a woman reported property had been stolen from her car while she was visiting a friend. A brief case was later found by the owner of Grand Stand Bar nearby. She had alarm posting signs missing as well that were not found, police said. Apparently a white van had been seen in the area.
