A Cleveland Drive resident reported to Croton police on June 25 the larceny sometime overnight of cash from his unlocked car.
The black Subaru Forester was parked in the driveway when the complainant said someone entered it and stole $250 that had been left in the center console.
Police advised the resident to leave his car locked, said Sgt. John Nikitopoulos, who added that he's seen waves of these incidents happening in the village but "not for a while."
