Croton Trustee Race Rollercoaster

The confusion over who actually won the Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees Democratic Primary continues this morning. The Board of Election's latest unofficial results now show Ann Gallelli and Kevin Davis winning. Previously, the Board of Elections said that Kevin Davis and Andy Levitt came out on top.

The Board of Elections hasn't given a reason for the change, and no one from the county was available for comment over the weekend. Patch will continue to investigate the reason for the change in the unofficial tally and work to find out when the results are set to become official.

The Democratic primary results are so important because they will determine who will be Croton-on-Hudson's next two trustees. That's because, this year, the Democrats have no Republican challengers to run against in November. 

Below is the breakdown of the Board of Election's latest unofficial vote tally, their first unofficial tally (with 100% of the districts reporting) and the totals from the Croton Democratic Committee.
