Engage in Rich Conversation this Weekend

Spiritual, but not churchy.

A local group gets together weekly, very casually in a coffee house setting, to talk about topics not usually addressed in a "religious" institution.

The Community Bible Church's "LifeTree Café" is thriving.

Coordinator Barbara Diehl says that "it has been a wonderful experience for most of those who have attended."

The topics are deep, global, specific, and timely. Most recently, the loaded issue was "getting past your past." This Saturday, Nov. 16, it's "Forgiving the Unforgivable: A son confronts his mother's killer."

Upcoming weeks:

Nov. 23: "A Christmas Surprise: Rekindling the Joy of Christmas"
Nov. 30: "On the Brink: Islam and the Middle East"

"The hour-long Lifetree Café experience features real stories of real people, friendly conversation, time to build relationships with others, laughter, fun, spiritual insights, and opportunities to serve in the local community," Diehl said.

All are welcome. Admission is free. Saturdays, 7 – 8 p.m. Community Bible Church, 301 Chadeayne Road, Ossining. For more info: barbaradiehllaw@yahoo.com (914) 245-7402.
